Red Carpet “Awards” Season is on it’s way!

It’s a new year and as we all know it’s also the beginning of awards season. This is a very busy time for “Fashion” as well. It’s the official kickoff of red carpet style and fashion. It all begins with the Golden Globes which will be airing on Sunday, January 15th and hosted by the ever controversial Ricky Gervais. The Globes are the preamble to other highly anticipated award shows such as the Emmys and the Academy Awards. Stylists as well as celebrities have a fast paced timeline the next few months with so much to prepare for. We can’t help but wonder who will make the BEST DRESSED list or the least favorite. Met Gala 2011 ….Best Dressed & more!

The day finally arrived for the much anticipated Met Gala 2011 in celebration of the late Alexander McQueen. One by one the celebrities arrived in elaborate and luxe gowns for this grand ball. For sure McQueen was celebrated in a big way and would have been very pleased to see the array of distinguished guests that made their way to the Costume Institute in his honor. Met Gala’s Fashion… A look back

By now you may have read that the 2011 Costume Institute Gala will be held on Monday, May 2nd in NYC. It will be a star studded event once again this year. The Costume Institute is honoring works by Alexander McQueen and celebrating his 19 year career. Expect to see the who’s who of Fashion and many celebrities in fashion forward gowns.
