Rattle Your Style!

Last summer I visited the American Museum of Natural History in New York City with my younger nephews. The older of the two being a long time reptile enthusiast, made sure to tell me “Pythons are non-venomous,” (as he heard me squeal). Well, this particular museum trip is very reminiscent of what’s in store for us in the coming seasons ahead…. During Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Week designers made a strong statement in their shows with endless versions of Python skins. Roberto Cavalli is very well known for using bright colors and animal prints, so it comes to no surprise he has incorporated it into his latest collections exquisitely. This exotic pattern has yet again swept us away. Everything from Dresses, blouses, skirts, jewelry and of course the infamous shoes and handbags. Get ready to have this trend slither it’s way into your attire. There are various ways to include this look in your your day to…

Tis’ the Season of…the Trench Coat

April is right around the corner and we all have heard the poem, “April showers, bring May flowers”. So here comes that time of year when many of us Spring clean and find ourselves storing our ski jackets, wool coats, parkas etc. Now we need that transitional outerwear piece that we can turn to for the days ahead before summer. Why not invest in one of the most iconic and classic items in Fashion…the Trench coat. Pair this coat with a scarf, sunglasses, a pencil skirt and/or a pair of nice heels and you will look like…

From the Beginning – The story of a little Fashionista

Hello and Welcome Fashion Readers!   I would like to welcome you to this exciting new venture.  A little virtual spotlight for my love of Fashion that I am happy to share with you. This is a very exciting time for me and a new experience. I hope you stop by as often as possible and share your thoughts and opinions on what you see and read here. Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself.   It all began in a little apartment house in Brooklyn, New York. I was a little girl who spent hours either drawing, coloring or sketching. Many times playing with Barbies and paper dolls. At times I played “boutique” by raiding my mother’s closet and pretending to own a fabulous store, selling and styling to my high fashion clients. Little did I know that those games were an indication of more to come. As the years went by I always had one person at…
