April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day and we are lighting it up blue for every child worldwide affected by this disorder. The struggle continues to impact 1 in 68 children in the United States. So many families are affected on a daily basis and are pushing and working twice as hard to deal with the challenge of having their child on the autism spectrum. Nowadays, it’s near impossible not to know a child that is on the spectrum of autism or even just know at least one parent who is fighting this battle with their child.  What is autism? “Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and autism are both general terms for a group of complex disorders of brain development. A couple of weeks ago we told you about the much-anticipated event, Vancouver Fashion Week which was held at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver. Emerging designers from around the world took to the runway to present their fall/winter 2016 collections.
