New York Fashion Week is in full swing and we are excited to show you what is definitely noteworthy on the runway. One show that had a special meaning this past Friday was Riccardo Tisci’s of Givenchy who took his presentation and honored the 14th anniversary of 9/11. On a beautiful night with the backdrop of the city, his dual celebration included the grand opening of the Givenchy store now at Madison Avenue and his 10th year with the french fashion house. Other designers we’ve loved and seen so far, Monique Lhuillier with vibrant colors and florals and dresses that surely will be considered for the up and coming Emmy awards red carpet. There is definitely a feel for comfort coming through many collections for Spring with florals and bright colors included. One standout repeat trend in beauty being seen on the models, minimal makeup. It seems the nude and sheer face is going to be big in 2016. Check out our continued NYFW roundup and make sure you tell us which looks are your favorites.
Also, this past Friday I had the pleasure of being invited back as a guest to join the fashion conversation at HuffPostLive with celebrity stylist and Fashion Police co-host, Brad Goreski. If you haven’t seen the segment click here to re-watch the show.
