Fall Preview on 5th Avenue

As New York City braces the hottest heat wave in many years, the display windows on Fifth Avenue are transitioning into a different season…Fall!

Yes Fall previews are already trickling into most of the major retailers from high end department stores to smaller chains. Magazine covers are introducing glimpses of colors, silhouettes and hemlines that will be on trend for Fall 2011. Walking by some beautiful displays at Bergdorf Goodman, Burberry, Miu Miu, Chanel and Dior you can’t help but admire the workmanship that goes into each arrangement. The compositions and themes at Bergdorf’s are always stunning and never disappoints. They chose to incorporate some paintings of surrealist artist John Gordon Gauld as backdrops to some of their displays; art & fashion done so well. Come back to One Style at a Time as we begin to introduce more sneek peeks into the upcoming fall fashions.
