A few weeks ago I was on my computer and it was just a typical evening catching up on emails and social media. When all of a sudden I get … THE FATAL BLUE SCREEN! My hard drive had crashed and I lost all of my files (backup? For now we will leave that “infamous” word out of this discussion). At that point I felt that sense of panic that Carrie Bradshaw felt during the episode in season 4, “My Motherboard, My Self”. Sex and the City fans may remember when her laptop crashes and she is unable to recover anything and was pretty distraught. It does put a lot in perspective, but for me the best result from that unexpected experience was the beginning of my blog. Ever since then, I have my computer running again and learned that a negative experience turned into something very positive.
“After all, computers crash, people die, relationships fall apart. The best we can do is breath and reboot”
